Aideen O'Donnell, professional Harpist, Vocalist, and Teacher, has been recognized by the Cambridge Who's Who and The American Teacher's Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership, and excellence in music. A critically acclaimed harpist and vocalist, Ms. O'Donnell celebrates 30 years in the music industry.
Ms. O'Donnell hails from Dublin, Ireland and immigrated to America to pursue her dreams. Originally inspired by her mother, acclaimed for her gifts in speech and drama, Ms. O'Donnell began her career as a professional musician. She has showcased her talents at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Keswick Theatre in Philadelphia, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and the Helix in Dublin. She has also performed alongside Andy Cooney, Frank Patterson, Anthony Kearns, and Sir. James Galway.
Ms. O'Donnell's distinctive voice and musicianship on the Concert Harp creates a powerful sound and leaves her audience with an original and memorable performance. She has performed for Presidents and Prime Ministers in Carnegie Hall and all over the United States.
A two time winner of the All-Ireland Harp Competition, Ms. O'Donnell attributes her success to her passion for the Arts and the support she received from her mentors and peers. The recipient of a Bachelor of Arts from the College of St. Elizabeth, she retains membership to the American Harp Society and the Irish American Cultural Institute.
In the future Ms. O'Donnell looks forward to continuing her solo work, private teaching of piano, harp, and harp ensemble.
